Zimbabwe

Tax Compliance

As the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) modernizes tax collection, two systems have become central to your operations: TaRMS and FDMS. Understanding how WeFiscalise bridges the gap between them is key to your compliance.

What is TaRMS?

The Tax and Revenue Management System (TaRMS) is ZIMRA’s primary portal for taxpayer registration, returns filing, and payments. Your business's "Master Data"—such as your TIN, VAT number, and registered physical address—lives here.

What is FDMS?

The Fiscalisation Data Management System (FDMS) is the real-time engine that receives every transaction you make. When you issue an invoice through WeFiscalise, it is sent to the FDMS, which "stamps" it with a digital signature and returns a QR code.

Why the "Link" Matters

For your VAT returns to be accurate, the data in TaRMS must match the data sent to FDMS.

  • Public Notice 30 of 2024 requires that all B2B (Business-to-Business) invoices include the buyer’s TIN and Address.

  • WeFiscalise ensures that every invoice you generate meets these strict ZIMRA metadata requirements automatically.
